Mother Christine McGlothine Moore, Overseer

Mother Christine McGlothine Moore was born in Meridian, Mississippi on May 17, 1939. Her parents were the late Aaron McGlothin and the late Helen Neadham of Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved from Mississippi to Cincinnati, Ohio where she attended local schools and completed her high school course work at Robert A. Taft High School in Cincinnati. Mother Moore later moved to Detroit, Michigan.

On December 6, 1965 Mother Moore was fatally shot and died. It was during this incident that God spoke to her, "The LORD is my light and my salvation: whom shall I fear?"... (Psalm 27:1) She recuperated from her injuries determined to serve God for the rest of her life. She received her "new birth" on February 21, 1967 between 10 and 10:30PM. Mother Moore was called into the ministry after 3-1/2 years of training as an international evangelist. She was under the leadership of Pastor Ralph Hart of Liberty Temple Church of Detroit, Michigan.

Mother Moore died a second time on January 17, 2005. The LORD resurrected her again, and placed her on spiritually "higher ground." Mother Moore has been continuing to serve God and ministering to His people at a high level of the anointing known by only a few. This woman of God obtained peace and joy through her tribulations and trials. She learned endurance, and patience through long suffering. She has made a decision to continue with God until the bitter end. She has dedicated herself to the people of God by continuing to run revivals and help them. She has given up the pleasures of life and chose the meager things. It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor; she chooses to help all people. She has ministered to God's people without price. They were times when people could not give her money or tokens of love, but that did not change her love for His people. She is caring and she loves everyone the same, even those that are destitute and hurting. She never complains, but continues in spite of her own feelings, because she has God's people at heart.

Mother Moore's ministry extends all over the world. In October of 1983, Evangelist Moore accompanied Pastor Benny Hinn to Johannesburg, South Africa. She has traveled and ministered in Israel three times. She recently ministered in the country of Haiti and plans to return.

As a result of her ministry, Mother Moore is affectionately known as "Mother Love." Although she has no natural children of her own, she has "birthed" many spiritual children and grandchildren around the world. Evangelist Moore's husband is deceased and she has remained unmarried and faithful to God. Mother Moore was recently ordained on August 28, 2005 as Mother Pastor Christine McGlothine Moore in Batesville, Mississippi by Dr. Florida and Elder Rufus Jackson of Chicago, Illinois. Mother Moore currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio and attends Miracle Faith Center under the leadership of Pastor Janet Scott in Cincinnati.
