Our Mission

To Serve as an resource center in communities abroad to face the challenges of our youth in literacy, education, poverty, mentoring, and at-risk teens by promoting hands-on technical & vocational training, and workforce development.

Our Vision

RHOMI Youth center will be the sounding response for answering the call of the “cries” of our young generation that has no one to turn to. The RHOMI vision is to begin as a resource center responding to the facing challenges of our youth such as literacy, education, poverty, mentoring, emotional development, at-risk teens, and a refuge for those in need. The goal is for the Youth center to become a full fledge Academy Training Center supplying the building blocks for promoting education, technical & vocational training, workforce development, and health & wellness to our youth.

Who We Are

A diverse, multi-talented staff provides direct service, improvement opportunities and mentorship for young people enrolled in our community. The Youth Center has full-time staff members who guide, lead, and coordinate with program staff and volunteers to ensure that programs are operating within our Guidelines & Practices. A part-time staff and Youth Workers provide mentorship, leadership, and implements program activities.

Our Sites

Our fully-equipped youth centers include classroom space, meeting rooms, computer lab, library, and kitchens. RYC provides year-round activities for youth of all ages in the Henry County communities. The center is conveniently located in McDonough, GA.

Our Programs

The Youth Programs operate distinct programs within each center—an after school Pre-teen/High School Afterschool Program, Friday evening Chosen Generation Teen leadership meetings, Saturday Youth development sessions, and an Saturday IT Academy Training Program. Our programs are designed to be in alignment with national research and promote S.T.E.M education initiatives. We focus on promoting youth development, leadership, and provide technology and certification training. We offer additional programs during the school vacation weeks and summer months.

  • Friday, 7:30pm-9:30pm
